A single-layer flexible duct wrapping material, suitable for ventilation systems (ADS ducts) that require a 1-hour and 2-hour fire resistance rating. It can provide a 4-hour fire resistance duration in specific high-demand fire protection areas such as nuclear power plants. Typical duct types include smoke exhaust, hazardous gas exhaust, laboratory chemical fume, stairwell and lobby pressurization, ventilation, supply/return air ducts, and commercial dryer exhaust ducts. The smoke control and exhaust ducts with fireproof wrapping design are a code-compliant alternative to traditional fire shafts, offering significant savings in weight, space and labor costs.
